As creative director I led a team to design a digital tool set intended to disrupt the way broadcast advertising sales are brokered. Accenture is engaged by OpenAP, a consortium of major media interests, allied by the common goal of competing for ad market share by offering the audience targeting capability brands and agencies seek. The interface we developed is designed to support the process of ad buyers, and allow them to leverage ratings data to create and share highly detailed audience segment definitions. Though the pool of potential users may be comparatively small, the volume of sales it supports is significant. Our process has included ongoing user interviews, process mapping and an agile process of testing and refinement. We continue to add features against the product roadmap.
